After a season of  ’politically incorrect’ posts/comments, heated arguments and trolls on my poor blog, I leave you this weekend with some of my most favorite clips of Russell Peters. Russell Peters is a famous stand up comedian from Canada, but his popularity extends to several countries. He was born to Anglo Indian parents who were immigrants from India; Russell himself grew up in multicultural Toronto. His jokes make fun of almost all cultures and communities, especially of those in which he has grown up in and which he understands the most. Enjoy!

How Bruno Interviewed a Terrorist

Sacha Baron Cohen has always appeared in interviews or talk shows posing as one of his characters, but rarely as himself. In a rare talk show appearance as himself, on the popular Late Show with David Letterman, Sacha talked about what it took to get an interview with an actual terrorist.

Below is the clip of that ’interview’ from the movie. Last I hear is that the terrorist is suing Sacha for exploiting him for this interview!

While going through some old videos on You tube, I found these fascinating videos of old Indian TV commercials. Anybody who has grown up in India during mid-80’s through early-90’s will remember these commercials. These videos are listed in no particular order of my liking them.

1. Gold Spot: Till date, no soft drink has tasted better to me than what Gold Spot had tasted long back. And, this commercial looked so hip then.

Melodious and Soulful songs Tag

Nimmy tagged me for this meme where I have to list my most favorite ten songs from two languages; songs which are soft and melodious. Iam a sucker for old Hindi film songs and still havent grown out of them. I never seem to have enough of them. I will go nuts if I really try to decide my top ten Hindi songs. I absolutely love not 10 or 20 or 50 but perhaps 500 songs. So, I will just list random ten favorite songs of mine, songs which come to my mind first. I will list some slow/soulful Punjabi songs too.
