Peace

As the final siege draws to an end at Taj, I’m perhaps gonna sleep now. Since Wednesday evening, I’m glued to the Internet/TV all day along, checking latest ‘updates’ and commentaries on India’s 9/11; an attack which, most likely, will change the course of our nation and will also impact the world at large. I have nothing to say, nothing to add because I have no feelings left..I no longer understand what humanity is, what politics is, what information is and what truth is..I don’t know..I understand nothing..

May God give strength and peace to all those who lost their loved ones in this one another spectacle of our ‘modern’ times.

The Meeting (script summary)

Folks, here is the summary of my first script which I am currently working on for my scriptwriting class. lam through with the first draft of this script and reworking on it before I submit the final script next week. Of course, it’s only a learning exercise and it’s very unlikely that this exact story/script will go till shooting stage. Before even attempting to write any story/script, it was very important for me to learn the structure and rules of the game. During the past 7-8 weeks, we were given many informative and interesting notes from our instructor which helped a lot in constructing this story in accepted format. That coupled with my extra readings from other sources is only making me learn and unlearn things everyday.
Although you guys are free to make your own interpretations regarding this script summary, I would like to mention few points though: This script is for a short film (around 15-20 minutes); the protagonist and the antagonist come from totally different worlds, both literally and symbolically, and this was intentional from my end; the complete script has more layers than what comes through in this short summary, and it will be more evident once you read the final script which I will post here too.
What I’m looking for now is some sort of feedback from you guys regarding this story and how can I make it more interesting. You could even mention things you don’t like/have issues with. I’m not looking for any bouquets here, so please feel free to speak your mind/criticize (it wont affect our friendships, believe me ). Thanks in advance.
